All of the dogs I write about are at the Willamette Humane Society — 4246 Turner Road SE — Salem, OR — Phone: 503-585-5900
Shelter Hours are Monday/Thursday/Friday 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Saturday/Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Remember, if you see a dog on my blog that you are interested in meeting, make arrangements to get to the Willamette Humane Society soon. Some dogs are adopted more quickly than you might think.
WHS now has a Adoptable Cat Blog! Another volunteer and her daughter are doing a fantastic job writing about our wonderful cats awaiting their forever homes. You can check it out here: http://oregoncatsforadoption.weebly.com/

Thank you very much for taking in Baxter from Enid Ok he is a sweetheart, cuddler, he was abandoned on Christmas day scared and hungry. I couldn’t keep him because I have 3 older fur babies 12+ in age and a young puppy wanted to play. I am thrilled he will soon have a furever home, he is a sweetheart. Thank you for what you do.
